We review income and background. Approved applicants receive an offer letter and US$50–$100 service fee invoice.
STEP 03
We Build
Once your location has enough orders, we acquire land, get permits, and begin construction — 6–12 months.
STEP 04
Move In
Sign your lease, pay first rental and deposit, collect your keys. Payments only begin on your move-in day.
STEP 05
Own It
After 12 years of diligent payments, the title transfers into your name. You are a homeowner.

How does the rent-to-own program work?
Move into a Homeslea home, pay monthly rentals for 12 years, adhere to the lease, and the property title transfers to your name — no deposit and no bank approval required upfront.
Is there a deposit or ordering fee?
Ordering is completely free. You only pay the service fee (US$50 for Studios, US$100 for Garden Flats) once your order is approved and a home is allocated to you.
Can I shorten the 12-year lease?
Yes — pay off the remaining balance at any time to gain ownership sooner. A shorter period means higher monthly payments. The Essential on 2 years is ~US$3,600/month vs US$600/month over 12 years.
What if I can no longer afford my payments?
We provide a grace period and allow you to sell your leasing rights to a qualified incoming tenant before any eviction proceedings begin. Our goal is always to keep you on the path to ownership.
Can I apply from the Diaspora?
Absolutely. Homeslea accepts orders from all Zimbabweans — local and Diaspora. Specify your preferred location on the order form and we build where there is sufficient demand.
How long before I can move in?
Up to 24 months from order to move-in, provided enough approved orders exist for your location. Build phase is 6–12 months. Your rental payments only begin the day you receive your keys.
